Did you receive a return package from your recipient that you opened without purchasing any stamp? It happens to a lot of us and it's usually pretty disappointing when we discover that the package wasn't what was advertised. What's worse is when you open it and find that the contents are all brand new and in their original boxes. There isn't much that can be more disappointing after that. If you received a return pack like this in Singapore, there are some simple things you can do to make sure that your recipient doesn't receive another such package from the same sender - below are some tips on how to do it!

Before you actually sign for the return address side of the package, make sure that your recipient is aware that you received a return pack and that they should not attempt to open or inspect the contents of the package. Most of the time, the people who return these parcels are not expecting anything at all, so they just want to return the package. However, if you have added some labels with the return address on the package, they may still try to open it. If you want to be extra safe, add a very loud S.O.C. that makes it obvious to anyone who reads the return address that the package is a return and not a new order.

Once you've added the S.O.C. to the return address side of the parcel, you will then prepare the actual return address side of the package. You can either use the return address side of the packet or a piece of card stock. Just remember to write the return address on the back of the card stock and to include the city and S.A. in block letters.
